The Company
The Sound-Department was founded an is managed by Daniel Walz. Motivation to build up another recording studio in Bremen was to provide a place, where everything is prepared to work there with small ensembles up to chamber orchestra size.
For that purpose the Sound-Department is well prepared with the big recording room and a small cabine with low reflecting walls. It enables production of different styles and genres from classical to Jazz and even Rock, Pop and Hip-Hop.
Additional to the construction we laid the emphasize on high class instruments to be already in place. So we proudly present a 2010 built grand piano (1,90m length / 75") form August Förster in Saxony. You can check the brilliant sound anytime.
Das Team
The Sound-Department is managed by Daniel Walz. He is responsible for any business decisions. After several years in
IT business and after long semi professional musical experiences he is now working completely in music business.
Playing cello, bass and doing compositions and arrangements he is helpful in the complete productive process with
advice or just creative dialogues. His special field is band coaching, working on interpretations and arrangements
up to check compliance with the original score and cutting after scores.
As a freelancer Christoph Thiele works at the Sound-Department. He is responsible for the recording system,
microphone placement and sound mixing. He got his training to be a sound technician at the "Sound- and Audioengineering School"
SAE in Hamburg and afterwards at the "School for Entertainment Technology" SET in Erding near Munich. His musical works
started in Hip-Hop but now he's doing also a great job mixing classical instruments as you can hear on this site.
